Helen Mirren loves stripper heels

Helen Mirren prefers to wear stripper heels when she struts her stuff on the red carpet because she feels empowered by the height.

The Oscar-winning British actress says she’d rather totter around in a cheap pair of high heels than don a pricey pair designed by Stuart Weitzman.

“I often buy my shoes on Hollywood Boulevard at these places that sell them to pole dancers because they’re really high,” Helen admitted.

“I’m only five foot four, so I put those little babies on and I’m, like, five foot 10 and I can strut my stuff alongside Nicole Kidman anytime.”

Mirren recently revealed that she still buys a lottery ticket!

“It’s a fantasy that we all have about, ‘What would we do, if we had a billion dollars?’” she said.

“That’s why, when the lottery gets really big and it’s up to $40 million or $50 million, I go out and buy a ticket. It’s, ‘Maybe I’ll win!’ You fantasize about what it would be like to have millions and millions and millions of dollars.”
