January Jones loves living alone

January Jones doesn’t “like living with other people”.

The Mad Men actress split from her boyfriend of nearly a year Jason Sudeikis at the beginning of the year, and she claims she is happy living the single life and is disillusioned with relationships which go nowhere.

“I don’t like living with other people,” Jones told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine.

“I don’t mind being alone. I just don’t really have a lot of time or energy to put into a relationship when nothing’s going to happen.

“Everybody writes that they think I’m so unhappy. I’m [just] in my own head. I’m doing things. Keeping things interesting.

“I don’t like having an entourage of people around me. I have a select group of friends who I hang out with.”

January is enjoying her sex symbol status as it has allowed her to get her own back on the people who were mean to her when she was in high school.

“The bitches in high school were bitches because I was pretty,” she said.

“I don’t have to sell myself to make myself more likeable.

“When I’m talking about myself, half the time I’m lying. I do it because I’m bored of talking about myself, or I have nothing left to say, or I want to be private that day.”
