Odette Yustman can pick locks!

Odette Yustman has a secret talent that helped her unlock her character for new TV drama Breaking In.

The 25-year-old actress stars as a safebreaker opposite Christian Slaterin the crime caper which was handy given her background for lock picking.

“I used to do the old Bobby pin trick when I was a kid so I wasn’t entirely new to breaking in,” she said.

“It’s actually a lot easier than you think but I only used to do it in emergencies.”

Odette who tied the knot with Brothers & Sisters actor Dave Annable in October recently revealed that she’s gained some newfound wisdom since becoming a wife.

“There’s a lot of great things about being a newlywed,” she said.

“I mean, I’m still in the honeymoon phase, so everything is great and amazing.

“You’re really not going anywhere, so there’s no point in arguing that’s what we’ve figured out. And your insecurities get cut out a little bit.

“We’ve balanced our work and our personal lives; we really don’t talk about work when we come home.

“We’d get home [after shooting] and talk about just the normal daily things in life.”
