Amy Adams crushing on Kermit!

Amy Adams is in love with Kermit The Frog!

The actress says she even cried when she realized she had secured a role opposite the little green puppet in the new Muppet movie.

“I actually got a DVD from Kermit inviting me to be in the movie,” says Amy. “By the end of it I was teary and going, ‘Kermit the Frog knows my name!’ I figured that if I reacted to a Muppet like that then so would audiences so I had to do the movie.”

Meanwhile, Adams is said to be scared of heights!

The actress who is taking on the role of Lois Lane in the new Superman movie will be dreading the obligatory romantic flight with the Man of Steel due to her dizziness when up high.

“Amy is not great with heights but this is a role she was never going to turn down,” reveals a source close to the actress.

“She’s expecting some wire work so she’s planning to try and face her fears way before that. This really is a dream role for her. Lois is an icon and it’s worth the ordeal of a few dizzy moments.”
