Nicole Kidman bans Keith Urban from collecting car!

Nicole Kidman has put the breaks on husband Keith Urban’s need for speed.

The country music singer says he is being frustrated in his passion for collecting rare cars by his superstar wife and their two young children.

“I love cars,” says Keith. “I have five and would love to add a few more but there are some other family priorities right now as you can imagine.

“Right now I have a 1956 Lincoln Mark II which I love and I also have an old pick up truck which I love to drive around in but I would love to add more just because I love the different driving experiences.”

Keith recently insisted Nicole is his ideal partner because they both have the same values in life.

“I’m fortunate to have a wife who understands about career as well,” he said.

“We’re very blessed to have each other, and you recognize the importance of all the facets of our lives. But family is very, very strong in our lives.”

While Keith enjoys his music career, he says his family will always be his priority.

“I don’t know if there’s any secret to it,” he said of juggling his career and family.

“Everybody sort of finds their own way to keep their life balanced. I know for me, family is first and I just make sure that I spread my time amongst the things that I love to do as well. Balance is never achieved, it’s just maintained. And so far I’ve been able to maintain it.”

As well as being dedicated parents to little Sunday, Keith and Nicole also take it turns to cook.

“At home, I do a little bit of cooking,” he said. “My wife and I share the cooking duties a little bit.”
