Michelle Williams obsessed with knitting!

Michelle Williams has a new hobby and it’s all thanks to her latest movie role.

The former Dawson’s Creek beauty became so obsessed with learning to knit in order to play a prairie wife in Western epic Meek’s Cutoff that she now shivers at even a mention of dropped stitch

. “I’m done with knitting,” says Michelle. “When I started knitting I was so bad and hated it so by the time I got on set I never thought I would be able to do it.

“I thought I would just have to play the character as if she was a bad knitter. Eventually I did get better and kind of enjoyed it but it’s not something I’m looking to carry on.”

Williams who sought legal emancipation from her parents at 15 to make it easier to embark on an acting career recently claimed there are “no limits and no rules” in Hollywood.

“There were no limits, no rules. I made mistakes and tried to implement my own safety rules,” she said.

“I thought of it like those partitions you have at bowling alleys the stuff I will do, the stuff that I won’t do. Although I still veered crazily across the lanes, I didn’t fall in the gutter.”
