Adam Copeland quit wrestling!

Adam Copeland has announced his retirement from wrestling.
The 37-year-old star who also goes by the name Edge made his decision live on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
The eleven-time WWW world champion has been suffering from Neuropraxia, a spinal condition which caused numbness and trembling in the arms. He suffered a neck injury and underwent spinal surgery in 2003.
“Medical professionals cannot clear Edge to compete ever again in WWE, since doing so could result in paralysis or even death,” said a statement on WWE.com.
The revelation caught most fans and wrestling insiders pffguard and is thought to be legitimate and not part of a storyline.
WWE advertised Edge making a big announcement several times during Raw, even hinting at the fact it might be to announce retirement.
Copeland joined WWE in 1997, and made his debut the following year. His career highlights include being part of a pioneering tag team with best friend Jason Reso (Christian) and standout WrestleMania matches with The Undertaker and Mick Foley.
As Edge is the current World Champion on the Smackdown brand, he is expected to forfeit the title setting up a title match between Christian and Alberto Del Rio at the Extreme Rules PPV.
