Dolly Parton isn’t a fan of TV talent shows!
Dolly Parton, the surgically-enhanced Joshua hitmaker, says she wouldn’t make a good judge on The X Factor and would say no even if Simon Cowell invited her to be on the panel for the US show.
“I have been asked to do different things like that. I wouldn’t, because I couldn’t judge people, I am too tender-hearted and I know those people are serious even no matter how bad some of them are,” Dolly said.
“I know they wouldn’t be there if they didn’t think they were good and it would break my heart to say something. If I saw that look on somebody’s face if I said they weren’t good enough

Dolly who has a career spanning six decades recently revealed her devastation at losing a collection of her early film and music material.
“Actually I have lost a lot of my early footage… and a lot of the songs that I had written, because I started writing songs when I was a child. I used the old Wollensak tape recorder, the reel to reel, and it started to die away and I didn’t realize that was going to happen,” she said.
“A few years ago I had to have people come in and try to save as much of it as they could. We lost a few things. That’s a bad thing.”
