Nicki Minaj inspires by Marge Simpson!

Nicki Minaj is inspired by Marge Simpson.

The singer claims that her unique style is based on that of the yellow-skinned cartoon character.

“Never did I think I would be rocking the Marge Simpson,” said Minaj, who was recently been sporting a towering beehive hair style much like Marge.

“But you know what, now that I am wearing them I realize that she was cutting edge and before her time. So shout out to Marge!

“My wigs are ever changing in height, width, color, size. They make me feel happy. Wearing them makes me feel that I can be a different person every day and that is kind of exciting.

“Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I am like, ‘This is a high-top day’, or, ‘This is a bob day,’ but when I get my clothes on that’s when I see.”

Minaj recently admitted she’s in a “state of shock” over the level of her fame.

The Girls Fall Like Dominoes rapper is often bombarded by fans when she goes out and while she appreciates their support, she admits the attention can sometimes be hard to handle.

“Sometimes it feels like I’m on the outside looking in,” she said. “I’ve grown up seeing what happens to the likes of Britney Spears, but I never imagined that one day that would happen to me. But people freakin’ dream of this, it’s not just supposed to happen and there is no guarantee that it will last.

“I’m trying to make sure it doesn’t affect me in the wrong way. And I guess I’m in a state of shock, too.”
