Reese Witherspoon wedding went perfectly

Reese Witherspoon thinks her wedding “went perfectly”.

The 35-year-old actress who married Hollywood agent Jim Toth in a romantic ceremony in California last month is extremely content with how the day went and was particularly happy with her dress, which was designed by Monique Lhuillier.

“The wedding was a wonderful experience. Everything went perfectly, right down to the dress which I just loved,” Reese said.

“Monique made it especially for me. She’s been a family friend of Jim’s for a very long time and it was an honor to be able to go to her atelier and have her make one of her beautiful gowns for me. I was just delighted.”

It is the Water for Elephants star’s second marriage after her previous union to actor Ryan Phillippe, with whom she has two children, Ava, 11, and seven-year-old Deacon, and the blonde beauty admitted she was “nervous” about walking down the aisle again.

“I don’t profess to be an expert on love,” she said. “I’ve had my ups and downs in relationships as you know, and as I get older I get more nervous about things, not less. And certainly I’ve had trepidation about getting in a relationship and marrying again.”

However, she realized that she shouldn’t deny herself happiness because of the past and in the end felt confident in her decision.

“You know, life is short, and happiness is just as important as any other element of your life, and I think if someone gives you an opportunity to be happy, then you should jump at it,” she said.\

“I’ve never wanted fear to be a reason I didn’t do something. That’s no way to live.”
