John Travolta to play John Gotti!

John Travolta has signed on the dotted line!

The actor has agreed to play notorious New York organized crime boss, the late John Gotti, in a new mob movie that may also feature troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, producers said on Tuesday.

The movie Gotti: Three Generations will also costar actor Joe Pesci as Gotti’s close friend Angelo Ruggiero. Lohan is “in talks” to be cast in the film, producer Marc Fiore told a news conference attended by Lohan.

The independently-financed film will tell the story of Gotti, the infamous American mobster who became boss of the Gambino crime family and the relationship with his family and son, John Gotti Jr., who himself rose to head the Gambinos and sold the rights to his life story for the film.

“This is probably the most interesting, untold story in this country, and what a character to approach and understand,” Travolta, 57, told a news conference.

“I like the glamor that he has, I like the humor, he entertained the press very well. He charmed them and he charmed his fans. There was mystery about what he was up to.”

Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Travolta has told wife Kelly Preston that he’s ready for another baby just four months after the couple welcomed baby son Ben.

“Baby Ben rocked John and Kelly’s world and they’ve never been happier,” a source said.

“Neither one can keep their hands off the baby. They’re mesmerized by his every coo and gurgle.

“Baby Ben has given them a desperately needed fresh start.

“Because her pregnancy with Ben was so challenging, Kelly said this time she’d consider a surrogate or even adoption.

“Kelly and John both realize that family is all that’s really important.

“The only thing that would make them happier is to share their love with one more baby. John is crazy about the idea and told Kelly they should make the project their No. 1 priority.”

Meanwhile, the devoted parents also dote on their 10-year-old daughter Ella who’s said to be delighted with her baby brother.

“Ella is totally into her role as big sister,” said the source.

“And now the Travoltas are hoping they’ll be expanding the nursery in another year.”
