Dennis Quaid has dished the dirt on his shocking drugs habit!

The actor who’s been open about his battle with the illicit narcotic in the past admitted it was easy to get hooked because cocaine was used as “petty cash” in the movie industry and that the white powder was “even in the budgets of movies, thinly disguised.”

“My greatest mistake was being addicted to cocaine,” Quaid said.

“Doing blow just contributed to me not being able to handle all that fame, which, at the time, I guess I felt I didn’t deserve.

“I’d wake up, snort a line, and swear I wasn’t going to do it again that day… Meanwhile, my life was falling apart.”

Quaid overcame his drug demons and rebuilt his career.
