Kate Gosselin getting sued for over $10k?

Kate Gosselin is being sued!

A company called Creative Energy Options has filed a lawsuit against the reality TV star after she failed to pay them $10,476 for marriage counseling services back in 2009.

Though a judge finalized her divorce from Jon, 34, in December 2009, Kate had previously requested that one of the Pennsylvania-based counselors “fly to Los Angeles to perform marriage counseling, then refused to pay for service or travel fees,” TMZ reports.

The company’s president, Dr. Sylvia Lafair, said Creative Energy Options has reached out to the controversial mom of eight several times, but Kate has yet to make any payments.

“There are commitments people make,” Lafair noted, “and they should be followed through.”

Recent reports claimed Kate misses her ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

“He was her whipping boy, but also her best friend,” a source said. “Yes, things were very toxic between them, but there was at least some sort of camaraderie.

“His departure made the show less interesting to people and left a very real hole in her life.

“She pretends to be made of steel, but underneath, she is very sensitive.”
